UV rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you are outside during these times, stay in the shade, wear a wide-brimmed hat and apply sunscreen.

It takes about 20 or 30 minutes for sunscreen to be adequately absorbed by the skin. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every hour even if your sunscreen is waterproof and regardless of the SPF.

Midwest Medical Laser & Aesthetics recommends SPF 30 or higher for all our patients.
